  3. I enjoy getting to see my family from our of town and spending a lot of time with them. I enjoy all the many good foods we get to have like the cookies , turkey, ham and cake. I enjoy when my mom cooks the turkey for the family dinner and when i get the drum sticks to eat to myself. I like the cookies my dad makes for his side of the family like the ginger bread man cookies. My favorite memory of christmas would have to when my dad surprised me with a Notre Dame letter man jacket that looked like the one in rudy.

  4. Last year my cousins came up from Florida. We all met at my grandma's house and had dinner and opened presents. My cousin Andrew thought it would be funny and pick up the youngest grandchild and throw her u in the air. My cousin Andrew is 6'10 so, my cousin almost hit the ceiling. I thought it was hilarious but my little cousin didn't think it was funny at all. Now that cousin is afraid of my other cousin.
Every year my grandma makes us grandchildren a pair of pajama pants. After we all try our's on she makes us take a picture and we all look silly and goofy. It's even better when there is still a pin in someone's pants and they get stuck by it.Last year my sister's pants still had a pin left in her pants, she toke the pin out and her pants fell down. We always have a good time at my grandma's house every Christmas.

  5. My favorite Christmas memory was.... well the fact that ever christmas morning I get to wake my parents up, then go and get some breakfast, then going and opening up presents from underneath the tree while listening to christmas music.
The reason it is my favorite is because it makes me happy to remember these.

  6. I remember when I got and Xbox and a tv for my room. It was 2014, December 25. I wake up and run to the living room were my Xmas tree is. I wake my dad and step mom up and make a cup of hot chocolate, we get my sisters up and we gather around the tree. We all open the small gifts first.
When we were almost done, I got a big box wrapped up. I open it and its a big long box. I start cutting it and my dad says to be easy it could be a pet. I get ready to stab the box and open it. He said he was kidding around so I open it and pull out a tv. Then he hands me another box in a box shape. I open it and it was a 360 with Titan-fall tapped on it and a headset for me. Thats my Xmas Memory.

  7. I had a long time ago Christmas memory that was finally reuniting with some of my family members. I had not seen them before in my life, until they arrived in our home on December 18. I was kind of excited and kind of scared at the same time because I had no idea who they were and what they were like. I had many thoughts going throughout my mind. The thing I hated though was that we had to clean basically the whole house before they came because they were very picky people that wanted everything clean.

This however was a very special memory to be because I finally after all of those 15 years I lived I got to see them! They didn't stay for very long just because they lived in Texas and had to work the few days later. I also got to meet some of my cousins which were very similar to me and some of my other family members. All we did though when they were here was eat and stay home for the whole time. We eat good foods like pancakes, eggs, and many more delicious items. We had a good time just putting the Christmas tree up and exchanging Christmas gifts all over. Even though when they left we had to clean the disaster they left, we all had a good time staying home and eating all day.

  8. Every year at around the same time my mom and I always do a little project called operation shoebox. This project means that we fill a shoe box up with presents and send them to kids in need overseas. It's my favorite thing to do at Christmas time and I know that my mom loves it to. Once we pack up the shoe boxes with toys we then drop them off at the church to be sent to the children.
Usually we don't put just toys in the shoe boxes, we put multiple things. First we start out with toiletries suck as a tooth brush and tooth paste, hair brush, and soap. Then I usually put in a coloring book, notebook, and crayons so that they have some school supplies. I then put in little toys like legos or dolls. Picking out the toys to give to the kids is the best part! Last but not least, my mom and I write a letter to the child stating our name and that we hope that they love their present. That is what we put into the shoe box!

  9. My favorite Christmas memory is when I got my kitten. I was in shock when my mom brought it home. My mom told me it was a girl, so I named her Bella. She was the cutest little kitten I had ever seen! I loved my kitten, we slept together at night to stay warm, she would always try to bite my feet while they were under the covers, and she was very playful!
About six months later, my uncle told me that Bella was a boy. I was SO upset with my mom, because I was wanting Bella to have babies so that I could have more! After I cooled down from learning my cat was a boy I named him Sam, and he is a spoiled cat! He thinks that he runs the house and always tries to fight with my puppy. Sometimes he gets away with it, but the dog is pretty tough too! This is my favorite memory, because it was very special to learn my cat was a boy instead of a girl!

  11. A couple years ago on Christmas, my uncle, who lives in New York city, came back to Indiana for about 3 days. My uncle moved to New York around 4 to 5 years ago and he became very distant to the rest of the family. When he comes back for a couple days is pretty much the only time I get to talk to him.

My little brother was excited to see Brian, and my uncle was super happy that Owen treated him like they have always been best friends. We had to cook a little extra food that Christmas since he came home, but I think we were all ok with that! Megan and Naomi were both excited to see Brian again too. I personally don't socialize much, so it was a little awkward for me.

  12. My worst Christmas memory was getting sick on Christmas eve. My idea of a good holiday is not getting sick it's not even in the top ten. So that year while everyone was having a good time I was literally dying on the coach. I was still sick on Christmas day as well. I don't remember well but I think I got my grandma sick the next day.
I did however discover my favorite Christmas movie during this time. The good ole boy left at home story known as Home Alone. Over the next 2 days I annoyed everyone by watching it over and over again. I still love the movie today even though I discovered it at such a bad time. Even though that was an awful Christmas (one of my worst) I still found my favorite christmas movie.

  13. A Christmas Memory I rememeber is when my oldest sister got her first phone. Well every christmas morning I get my siblings up at 7 or 8 to open our stockings. Then we wake up our parents and arrange the furniture. After arranging the furniture we settle down some where and get our first present and open it at the same time. Well we were almost done with opening presents and my mom started to make breakfast. We had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Well we finished opening our presents and my sister was upset because my parents promised her that she would get her phone. We finally got all the trash and things into trash bags and outside. Then all of a sudden my dad told her to go to the bathroom for something, I don't remember what it was. When she came back to the tree she heared a ring and told my dad that his phone was going off, he said it wasn't his or my moms. My dad told her it was her brand new phone, she was very excited when she found out. After she got her phone she was on it the whole entire night after supper we had at my nana's house. The whole day she was trying to figure out how to work it and what was on it. So this is the chrismas memory I have since I can't remember a lot of things I have gotten for christmas.

  14. One of the best memories i had was when my uncle and aunt surprised my family on christmas day. I woke up at 5 in the morning to see what the loud noise was out side and looked out the window to see my uncles truck out side. We ended up staying up all night talking and catching up lost time with them. It was good getting to see my little nephews and getting to sped time with them. That is my christmas memory

  15. My christmas memory is decorating the tree. And then my family makes at lease 5 pounds of bacon because I eat most of it. I really like putting ordainments on the tree, but I also hate putting up the tree with the lights. I really like christmas morning because I get to see all my family and all of them happy but tired.

Another thing I like about christmas is just everyone getting along and theres no fighting for the most part. But I also don't like it when my baby cousin cries all the time. Or when my cousins complain that they did not like how they did not get everything thing for christmas that they wanted. Another reason why I like christmas is that the year is almost over and that mean you get to start fresh on thing that you did, and just leave the past behind.

  16. A Christmas memory of mine is seeing how excited my younger siblings get. The whole day is full of anticipation waiting until I can see how bubbly and bouncy they become. Usually they are always fighting and generally being annoying but Christmas seems like the only time when they really get along. It’s really nice to see them smile and share stuff with one another instead of taking what the other has. They both pick a favorite present they got and play with for hours until they are sick of it.
My favorite Christmas was the year Oudrie got a mini drum set and Lyz got a bike. Oudrie played with her drums nonstop and gave everyone enormous headaches. She looked so happy playing with it so no one really had the heart to stop her. Lyz on the other hand rode her bike around the house until she went a little bit too fast and shot down the stairs on it. It was pretty humorous to watch but it hurt her pretty badly. Seeing my sisters get excited on Christmas makes all the times they annoy me and infuriate me worth it.

  17. Christmas day every year has to be my favorite memory, because all of my family gets together. We eat lunch together, and get to spend time with each other, which is special because we don't really get together much. My brothers are a college and I never get to see them much, so I get to spend time with them. They always make everything "special". No, just kidding, but it is really fun getting to be with all of my family.
After lunch we slowly migrate to the living room to open gifts. I'm always the one to pass out the gifts; because you know, I'm the baby of the family, so they make me do all the hard work. Haha. I actually do enjoy passing out the gifts. After we open all the gifts, we usually go back and get dessert and maybe more actual food. Around evening time, we all have supper and then start heading back home.

  19. My Christmas Memory was all ways opening one Christmas present on Christmas Eve and then backing and making cookies and yummy snacks. I love to put up the tree and the go to my cousin's hose and we did white elephant gift exchange. Then all of the litter kid went down to the basement and played and the teenagers and all of the adults stayed upstairs and talked about boys and what they are going to do when they got home and next year. Every year my grandpa read form the bible and he will do it and then it will go on for one kid to another. i love to eat the Little Smokies Crackpot Cocktail Wieners or Little Smokies with Grape Jelly Barbecue Sauce yummy.

  20. One of my favorite Christmas memories I had was in the year of 2013 and 2014 on Christmas Eve. My grandmother got some amazing Christmas presents. I got some Lego Star Wars sets like the Battle droid carrier. I also got some really good Nerf dart guns. In 2014 Christmas Eve, I got one of the best Christmas presents I ever got was a HP Windows 8 laptop with a powerful processor.

Later I upgraded it to a Windows 10. Recently my dad bought a memory upgrade for my laptop. Another really good memory I had on Christmas was going Christmas shopping and bought a ton of stuff. I bought some lego sets, some BB guns, and some games.

  22. A Christmas memory of mine that is special to me would be that on Christmas or Christmas Eve, all of my family gets together. This is special to me because everyone in my family isn't all in one place until it's Christmas. I get to see family that I haven't seen for a while. A lot of my family is not in wabash so I get to see them and catch up with them. I also enjoy this because theres lots of food and presents during Christmas.
Although that I don't get presents because I ask for money instead of presents it's still fun on Christmas morning. I enjoy the morning of Christmas morning because my family makes a big breakfast and then we open presents. Around 6:00 pm we all go to my grandparents house and we celebrate Christmas there with all of my family.

  23. What I love about christmas time is waking up super early in the morning and checking out all the presents before we woke up our parents. It's different and now we don't ask for much cause we got what we need. After we open up our presents and clean everything up we head to my mom grandparents house and we open up what they bought us. We all bring food and snacks and eat over there. After were done we go sledding down the hill she owns.
During noon we head over to my dads side of the family. They play games and eat. We do these draws before christmas where you pick a persons name and you have to buy them something worth $20. We give them what we bought and thank everyone for there gifts. Then we get tired and head home and call it a night.

  24. One of my most favorite Christmas memories is always going down to my great grandma's in Peru for a nice dinner. I go down there every year for Christmas and it is always very fun. I love spending time with my family down there. It's always nice to be laughing and having fun with family you usually don't get to see. The food is also always delicious.
I love spending time with my cousins. I especially love spending time with my cousin, Kyle, who is a lot like me. It's always very fun to goof around with him. It is also very nice to have someone to share my interests with. I really love going down to my great grandma's house every Christmas, having a nice dinner, and spending time with my family.

  25. I remember a long time ago on Christmas, my sister's long distance boyfriend, Mike came over for Christmas and spent a few weeks with us. We made cookies and set them out and put up the stockings, then went to bed. My sisters slept on the couch, Mike on an airbed in my sisters bedroom, and I in my bedroom. I can hardly sleep, since at that time I still believed in Santa Claus, so I snuck down the stairs, sat in the landing and watched the tree. But, before long, the changing lights on the tree slowly lulled me to sleep, and I fell asleep on the stairs. I'm always the first one to wake up, so I woke up confused, then remembered what had happened, and ran over to the couch, waking up my sisters. Then, we got Mike up and stormed into my parent's bedroom.

After we woke up, we laid out our blankets and opened our presents. After that I turned on the train we had near the tree. All the time during Mike's visit, he was playing Pokemon on his DS, and he saw me watching in amazement, so once he left he gave me the game. I found it on the table and freaked out at first, saying he left it. But, my sister then corrected me and said that Mike said I could have it. It was an extremely memorable Christmas, since it sparked the love of Pokemon in me.

  27. My favorite christmas memory is when holly scarred my cousins. holly hide under the bed to wait for them. After awhile they came back in. They started talking about something.
Holly chimed in on her opinion and scarred them. They didn't like her for doing that.

  28. My christmas memory is when I was in 1st grade and all I wanted was a basketball and a basketball and a gaol to shoot it in to. That was the only two things I put on my list that year. I told my mom and dad that was the only thing I wanted from that summer till that winter.
I woke up the next morning and was looking for my basketball i did not care about the goal and i was mad when i could not find it. so I woke every one up and we went out to the tree and started opening gifts. after we where done i went to my room and stayed there for a while and my mom came in and knew i was mad about not getting the basketball and the goal. she told me come on we are going into town and i got up and got my shoes on and went out side. when i opened the door all i saw was a big basketball goal and a basketball laying right next to it. I was so happy and I went back in side and got warm cloths on a played basketball until i had to go to my grandmas house for christmas.

  29. Christmas, even though it's my Birthday, does not bring me my best memories. I dread being woke up by my sister at 4 in the morning. I guess thats really the only bad thing about Christmas; even though some people really enjoy waking up early. Some good Christmas memories are just the ones where all of my family can come together. It's not that often when it happens. Since it's my Birthday, I get to choose what we eat too. My choice varies most of the time (and there are many choices!!!), so I couldn't really tell you what I have chosen the past few years, but I can assure you it always tastes good!

  31. The memory that I remember the most that was around Christmas time when I was living in Charlotte North Carolina. It was winter break for Randolph Middle School IB and I was suppose to travel up here to Indiana to spend my winter Break with him. And if I recall that was a bad winter for Indiana so the flight was canceled and my dad couldn't get it rescheduled. So instead we decided to go down to Myrtle Beach down in South Carolina. And it was the best Christmas I ever had with my mom and my Step Dad.

We arrived in Myrtle Beach the next day and the first thing I remember thinking that it is so warm down here. And we were staying in the Marriott down their. So it was really nice. And the I remember the one thing when we got to are room and I went out on to the balcony and saying "This is so beautiful OMG!" And I forgot to mention is that when we got their it was in the afternoon when the sun was setting; so the view would make your jaw drop because it was so beautiful and magnificent. But it was so fun because it would warm my heart when I see my mom smile because it would just warm my heart because you would just get that sense of happiness when you look at her. So that was my experience with my family two years ago during Christmas time.

  32. My favorite Christmas was actually a long time ago. I was probably 6 or 7. I was laying in my bed awake around 2 in the morning because I couldn't sleep. Aaaaaand is was also because I didn't believe in Santa. I never actually did believe in him. I knew it wasn't some fat guy in a blanket.

SOOOOOO, I was laying it my bed and I could see the Christmas tree from where i was laying. So I just stared. It was late and I was tired, but I still couldn't sleep. I kept looking, and about 5 minutes later, I saw a foot. I was like "WAAAAAAAAHTS DAT RIGHT DAER!" So I waited longer. After the tree was thoroughly stocked, my mom walked in to see if I was asleep. Of course I was asleep. I was asleep the whole time.

  33. The worst christmas memory that I remember was last year the day after christmas. On the day of December 26, 2014 I was getting ready for Eva Goff's birthday party and it took me like almost 30 minutes just to get ready. I hopped in the shower, it took like 15 minutes to get out of the shower and get dressed. After I walked out of the bathroom into my parents room I heard my dad crying. I walked out of the bedroom and saw him laying there with my dog. My whole family knew that my dog Pepper wasn't going to last through the winter. But on that day we lost the dog that was about 17 years old. We had him ever since we moved out where we live now so almost 17 years. I knew once i was about to get into the shower I realized his mouth was just open and I didn't want to be the one to find him dead. It took us almost 30 minutes for my dad to make a whole to bury him but half way through my dad said"Just go get dressed and go to the party." Keagan and I decided to go to the party to get our minds off of the fact that we lost our dog.

  34. There is many different memories that I love about Christmas. Probably the funniest one was when I bought my sister this little necklace. The necklace was in this little cupcake shaped container and it was her birthstone. I've always wanted to put presents in many different boxes and this was the year to do it.
It took awhile to gather all the boxes I would to put this little cupcake necklace in because I seriously put it in probably six different boxes. After getting all the boxes and wrapping it I didn't put a name tag on it or anything and everyday my sister would ask, "Who is that for!" On Christmas day it was the best to watch her open and to see her face that it was hers. Before even opening the first box she knew it was a joke because the first box had a picture of a sweeper on it. At the very end after she had opened every box she gave me the funniest death stare.

  35. My favorite Christmas memory is when we go to Ohio to celebrate it with my whole family and we play this game where we put all the gifts that we got for the game in the middle and we role a dice and it starts out that you have to role a 1 and if you do then you get a gift and then when the number 1 is done then it goes on to 2 and so on, but that has been a tradition in our family ever since I was little and i cant wait for Christmas to come so i can play the game with my family.

My other Christmas memory is another tradition but its like a week or 2 before christmas we always go to the store and buy like blank stockings and we make them our own. We use glitter and glitter glue and all sorts of craft things its just a really fun thing to do with the family before christmas comes.

  36. One Christmas that I loved was two years ago. The reason why I loved it was because it was a great morning to wake up on to see the wonderful tree. It was my favorite Christmas because I got to be able see everyone. It was a great time because I acted like a little kid again shooting Nerf guns at my uncle and brother. My favorite part of that day though was opening presents.
Opening presents was amazing because I loved everything I got, but there was one thing that stood out. The thing that stood out were tickets. Which they were tickets to the Pacers vs. Heat basketball game. Seeing those tickets made me the happiest 12 year old alive. That was memorable because it was great to tickets to see the best player get to play.

  37. One memory I have of Christmas time is that every year my grandpa comes to visit. He lives in Montana so this is the only time of the year I get to see him. It's always nice to see him because he always has good stories to tell, and if he isn't telling a story then he still can always break the silence with something good to talk about. No matter whats going on before he comes when he's there my family is always happy. He's been coming to visit ever since I was born.

Every time he visits he brings the children of the family gifts. One year he brought me my first BB gun. It was the first time I had ever shot something any where close to a gun. He taught me all the basics on how to shoot and he taught me how to be safe with it. This was probably my favorite time he came to visit because I got to spend the most time with him. It was really fun to shoot with him and spend all that time with him.

  38. One time I got a dog for Christmas. I woke up to the sound of barking. We had two other dogs, so I didn't think anything about that fact that it sounded different from the other dogs' barks. I went downstairs, and my stepdad was turned away from me doing something. When he saw me, he turned around and told me to go in the kitchen to help my dad with something. When I went to the kitchen with my mom, I heard that bark again. We opened all of our Christmas presents. The last one was for me and it was a huge, weird looking box with weird holes in it. It was addressed to me. I unlatched the top and opened it up. As soon as it was opened, a big dog jumped out and landed on my lap. He was a Sharpei. We named him Chaos St. Anger.

me and my family were all sitting in my living room when suddenly the power went out so we all were gathering candles and lit them and then we were sitting there playing games and talked about what you that what you were getting for christmas.

  40. A tradition my family usually does is going to the Toledo Zoo. We go to see the flashing lights that hang on various things throughout the zoo. It is filled with vibrant colors ranging from purple to bright green. My favorite color is the purple ones, because they just glow very bright and shine in the dark. Even though it is really cold out, animals are still out. The one animal that I love to see that is illuminated by the lights is the white wolves. The lights colors reflecting from their fur.

There are certain light that I look forward to, though. One is seeing the big tree wrapped with many lights and having every color on them. Another favorite of mine is the teardrop lights. These lights are white and hang on tress, so when its in the dark it looks like drops are coming from the sky. One more thing that I love is the tress with lights on them change to the music. I love to just look at the lights changing on each tree as I am entranced by them. Going to the zoo is one of my favorite traditions to do with my family.

  41. My Favorite memory about christmas has to the whole holiday itself. Each year, we set up the tree while watching one of my mom's christmas movies. In the past 6 years, we have started making tie blankets, and I really enjoy doing that. On Christmas eve, I look up the Santa tracker, even though he isn't real (or so you think!) and watch where he would be around the world! Its entertaining to watch it, because then I would think of everyone who watches that and waits to see santa come near them!

Christmas is always fun for me, because i love everything about the Holiday, and by this time of year, people do need a little christmas spirt! This is the time of year were people help each other out, and i think its just wonderful! Plus cooking all sorts of christmasy foods is definitely fun!

  42. One of my favorite memories was when my family went to the Marion lights. I was only 5 years old when I first saw them. They were beautiful to look at. It was so cool seeing the lights for the first time. My favorite light was the ones of the dinosaurs. That was one of the best things we did for Christmas that year.
It is now a tradition going to see the Marion lights. They are always the same ones every year but it is still fun to go. My dad won't let us go unless they is snow on the ground. Last year I went with my Church's youth group and went to Starbucks before. This is now one of my favorite things to do during Christmas time. I can't wait to go this year.

  44. One of my favorite Christmas memories is when all of my family comes together to open gifts and to eat. All of my family even out of state coms and we all get to sit and talk to each other because it is the only time of year we all get to come together and talk. A lot of my mom's side of the family comes from West Virginia so they all come to my grandpas close to Christmas Day.

On my dad's side of the family he has a uncle and aunt that live in Florida. Sometimes his uncle comes but not all the time. His aunt always comes to Thanksgiving and Christmas to be with the rest of her family. So when they come from Florida it is really the only time i get to see them which is usually once or twice a year for my aunt and a few years for my uncle. So, my favorite Christmas memory is when I get to spend it with all of my family.

  45. One of my favorite christmas memories is when we put up the tree. When we put up the tree we always laugh at each other and the ornaments we made when we were little. Every year we always break at least one ornament and its always one that has a bell in it so we usually just listen to it jingle in our hand before throwing it out. Whenever we put up the tree we decorate it different every year and I like the years when we just decorate it plain and it doesn't have ornaments on it.
One year while we were decorating the tree we had let the cat come inside (Carl) and while we were putting the lights on it Carl thought it would be fun to chase the lights around the tree and then knock the tree over. Having a cat and putting the tree up just make christmas that much more fun because usually everyday when the cat is inside the tree gets knocked over.

  46. My favorite Christmas was when i first met my Step-father. That was when we had our first christmas together. When he finally moved in we all went outside and played football. That was the best time of my life. That year when christmas came around he had been working for a good job and he was getting payed really good. But then after christmas he had gotten into a car wreck and he had lost his job. But i was happy he was ok when that happened.

That same time i was thinking how can we go outside and play football anymore. Then i asked god if he can help heal my dad. Then after a week my dad had gotten a phone call saying that he had to go to court and he went. They had said since it was the other persons fault that he would get 300,000 dollars to pay off the damages and stuff so that was the best Christmas Ever.

  48. Every year at Christmas time, my family and I go to Florida. We decorate the Florida house with lights, a tree, and decorations. Some years we go to the beach, but I always look forward to the Flea Market. They always sell cool things, and I enjoy walking around in sunny weather going shopping. Some of my relatives and friends also live in Florida, and I always look forward to seeing them.

One year, I got to bring one of my friends to Florida. Her and her family stayed in the house right next to ours, and we had a blast. I love going to Florida whenever it gets cold in Indiana, because I would much rather be in sunny, warm weather rather than cold, dry weather.

  49. One of my favorite Christmas memories was two years ago when I got my Xbox 360. I had been asking for one forever and I was saving up money for one so that I could buy it myself. But I went out to the living room and my sister sorted all of our presents out by who got what and I picked up a box that was heavier than I expected.
I have this habit of always opening the largest or heaviest present last because thats normally the best one. So I opened up all of my presents and I got to the last box and opened it and the first thing I saw was the green Xbox logo on the box. And about five minutes later I had hooked it up to my TV and started playing Halo 4.

  50. My favorite Christmas memory was when I was when I was in first or second grade and I got my first Baby Alive doll. I remember putting on my Christmas list that I wanted a doll and the only one I wanted was the new Baby Alive doll. My parents always knew I wanted it because thats all I would talk about. I would bring up the doll in every conversation just so they would get the hint of what I wanted most, even if it was the only thing I got.
On Christmas Eve when we got home from my grandma's house everyone went to bed right after except for me. I woke up in the middle of the night and started shaking presents under the tree that looked like they would be the size of my doll. When I finally shook one that started to talk I knew I got a Baby Alive doll. So, the next morning when me and my brothers woke everyone up we opened the presents and sure enough, there was my Baby Alive Doll that I named Sammy (Sam for short).

  52. My favorite Christmas memory is two Christmases ago. There were two memories from this Christmas. The first memory was my whole moms side of the family getting together. This is a tradition and the reason this is a good Christmas memory it because I don't get to see them that much.
Another good memory from this Christmas is getting my Xbox. I have been asking for one for a very long time. I tried to get my mom to tell me if she got me one. She told me she didn't so I basically forgot about it. Then on Christmas morning I finished opening my presents and my mom told me to go where my parents presents were and there was one more present for me and I opened it and found an Xbox.

  53. My favorite christmas memory is when all my brothers and I went to Kentucky for christmas because most of my family is there and we got lost so we were late to the christmas party and everyone though that we didn't come so when we showed up they were mad because we missed it but then they got over it .

Once when i went to my grandma's for christmas in Texas i got a go cart and it was all muddy and nasty and i asked my grandma how it got all dirty and she told me that santa must have took it for a spin but really i knew that my dad probably too it or something because when i seen him he was all muddy. I got a dog that christmas and that was two years ago and i still have my dog..
That day the lights went out in the house so we went and found a bunch of candles and flashlight and we sat in the living room and my brothers were playng cards and everyone else practically fell asleep including me.

  54. My favorite christmas memory is, The time I went out side in nothing but my pajama pants when I was 6. I played outside for like 30 minuets until my mom finally relizied I was missing(By the way it was like -5 degrees F) . Even though she had the dead bolt and door lock locked. I was smart enough to get a chair and use a fly swatter to unlock both locks. When my mom got me inside my skin was frezzing cold I had no frost bite and I said I didnt feel cold.

  55. My very favorite Christmas memory that I will never forget was when I was in 6th grade. It was probably a week before Christmas day but we had just got a bunch of snow so me and my best friend Natalie were at my house pretty bored. My wanted to take all of us somewhere but when we got in the car he wouldn't tell us where we were going and it felt like we were driving forever. Before we even got in the car he mad us pack sleds so we obviously knew we were sledding, we just didn't know where.
We finally got to where my dad was taking us and my cousin, my brother, Natalie, my dad, and I got out of the car. We parked in a little patch of the woods off the side of a highway because my dad took us to Salamonia River! It was the absolute steepest, biggest hill, it was a chore just to get back up the hill once you reached the bottom. We were there for a while and I only made it down twice because the hill took so long to get back up, but while we were all sledding we were confused as to why everyone was stopping there cars and watching us. After climbing the snow covered hill for the second time I saw a sign sticking out of the snow that read "Sledding Prohibited against law" So this whole time we were having a blast sledding down the side of the highway on the biggest hill ever it was illegal and we didn't even know it. Thank goodness we didn't get stopped, but after reading the sign my dad did say we had to go. So even though I only got to sled down the hill twice it was still my favorite Christmas memory.

  56. Every Christmas Eve my two little brothers, my grandma, and I always go to my grandma's church at 5:30 to serve people a Christmas dinner who can't afford to have one of their own. This is one of my favorite Christmas memories and favorite traditions because when I see the looks on everybody's face they all look so happy and grateful for what we have done. The food we use for the dinner comes from the church's donation box we collect for the whole month of November and beginning of December. After the church committee buys stuff for food if there is any leftover money we use it to buy little presents for all the people who come to the dinner.

One year there was this little girl and her brother who came in with their mother, they were the nicest people they asked if it was okay to be there and every time someone served them they all said thank you and smiled. I remember we had purchased around 14 gifts that year with the leftover money and two of those gifts were a toy dinosaur that roared whenever you pressed a button and a doll that came with a bunch of little things, I had my brother give those gifts to the two little kids and I will never forget the looks on their faces when they opened them. Knowing I help change someone every year always makes me happy enough to last all year, my grandma always says that when other people are smiling because of you, you know you made a difference.

  58. Im not sure what my favorite Christmas memory would be, there is so many. I love everything about christmas time. Its always fun to go to my grandmas and help her get set up for our family christmas because our family is huge. I help her wrap gifts, hang stockings and stuff them. We also make lots of food and christmas candy. Its always fun to spend time helping my grandma prepare for christmas.

On Christmas day we all wake up and make a really good breakfast. Then while stuff is in the oven and my mom finishes it up me and my dad go over and get my grandma. After we eat breakfast we open our stockings and presents. When we are finished with presents we play card games and ping pong. I enjoy spending time with my family on Christmas day.

  59. My favorite Christmas memory is when I was into gaming. There was this company that sold tons of gaming products. I opened my first pair of headphones. They were pretty good, but the reason I wanted them is because I seen them in a store. I liked the look of them, a bright green with black. They just looked nice and they worked like a dream. Then they broke in eighth grade in the class room. Moving on to the next story.

On my second best christmas I had was alright, but still pretty good. It was another pair of headphones and it was compatible for an Xbox 360, and I also got that for christmas. I really liked the headphones more because I had like 5 Xbox 360's and they were either broke or gone or stolen. But in my age of being a teenager I knew how to take care of stuff. Anyways on the November of the 29th my recent pair of headphones had a slit cord, it still worked but I just left them alone for now. So now I use earbuds.

We would open up all our presents, and play with our news toys for a while. Then we would go to grandma's and have breakfast, and open more presents.

After that, we would stay home for a little bit, then the whole family would go to my great-gandparents' house for Christmas dinner. Well, actually, it was usually more like lunch. All the kids would play, there would be lots of food, and it was a pretty good time. But this summer, my great-grandparents died, and their house was sold. Shortly afterward, my mom and my grandma stopped talking to each other, so I don't think much of that will happen anymore.

  63. Most of my Christmas memories are at my dad's house in Indianapolis. I remember running upstairs and dragging my parents out of bed so that we could open the mound of decorated presents under the tree. My brother and I would argue over who got to go first and then end up in a free-for-all of flying wrapping paper and presents stacking higher and higher on the couch in to separate piles. The rest of the week, before returning to Wabash for New Year's and my grandpa's house, would be spent playing and "trying out" all the new, exciting gifts we received from our parents.
For the times that we spent Christmas at my mom's house we would either go visit our aunt, uncle, and cousin in Ohio or mom's entire family would meet at grandpa's house. Usually we would go to grandpa's because our house is really tiny and the older people in my family can't journey to Ohio as easily as they would like to. We always have a huge dinner around grandpa's large, wooden table, that he's cleaned just for this occasion. My grandpa isn't the best cook, but it's fun just to see my cousins, because I only see most of them once a year.

This memory is very special for me because we never get together as a whole family because some people live in other states and when they visit everyone else is always busy. This has happened only that one time and it was a great time. Everyone was happy to see each other and so was I. We had lots of food, everyone brought presents and we played big family games that were really fun. This memory is really special to me. When I see my family it is never everyone at once but like an uncle here or a grandma there but this time everyone was with each other. This is by far my favorite Christmas memory that I have and it was the best.

She and I would always spend the day together when my parents went to work. She would also get up and make breakfast which was really good. She also would cook lunch and dinner sometimes.
One day while she was here it snowed a lot. At about eight PM the power went out. We could not find a light at first when the power went out and it was funny. My grandma and I lit a bunch of candles and played board games all night. We ate and played board games till about eleven PM and then went to bed. It was a really fun night and finally in the morning the power came back on.

  66. One of my favorite Christmas memories was when we went to Florida one year over Christmas Break. My grandparents always go to Florida in the winter because they don't want to deal with snow, and they own a house there. We went to a really cool zoo (I forget what it was called) and we each got to pick an animal to hold. My siblings each picked a baby tiger, but I picked a lemur, because lemurs are cute and why would I want to do the same thing as them? It was a hot day, but there was plenty of shade at the zoo, so the lady led me and some stranger people I didn't know to the lemur cage.
We all walked in to the cage and sat down, and threw marshmallows all over the place. We couldn't pet the lemur, because of reasons, so we just had to let him jump on us and sit there. He didn't eat the marshmallows, probably because they were tiny ones and the zookeeper people always give him big ones. He just sat on our shoulders, and then he stuck his tongue up my nose. That was gross, but it tickled. This is my favorite Christmas memory.

  67. My favorite Christmas memory is when I had Christmas at both my mom's house and my dads. I got to wake up and open presents (which is always fun) at my dads. Then I got to go see my grandmother and build a snowman outback with my little cousins. My nephew was only 2 so he was still young and I got to help him open all his presents. I loved seeing his face light up after he had successfully tore off the wrapping paper by himself. I got to see my mom, make hot cocoa, and watch Christmas movies with her all night.

I think that overall my Christmas memories are special because of the people I got to make them with. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without hanging stockings or decorating a tree with the people you love. The holiday kind of brings us closer together and reminds us all to appreciate one another. It's not just about the gift giving, its about celebrating a wonderful day with your family. Without a doubt, Christmas memories are memories to remember.

  68. My favorite Christmas memory has to be when my grandpa would read us the Christmas story. It used to happen every year but since my grandpa passed away two years ago we haven't been doing it. I remember being really little and sitting in my grandparent's living room with all of my cousins. We would all sit together on the floor near the chair where my grandpa was sitting. We would listen to him as he read the familiar Chrsitmas story.

I remember when I was smaller I would be anxious to open my gifts so I wouldn't like to listen to the story. Now I miss hearing the story told to all of us. I remember my grandpa taking his bible and reading straight from it. He would always read it very extravagant I think to make it more interesting to us kids. I know that this is my favorite memory because I know this is what I miss most about Christmas with my grandpa.

  69. I have had many great memories with my family over the Christmas season. One of my favorites is doing a dinner for my church in December. My church is very small and most of the people who attend are all over sixty or seventy. I love to see the faces they get when we make them a homemade meal to have and enjoy. While they do this we always show a movie, or in the past we have made homemade Christmas videos.

The youth at my church are the ones who put the dinner and entertainment together. The youth includes my two older brothers and my cousins on my dad's side of the family. We take Christmas songs and we lip sync to them as we dance around in the snow or in the Church. I love this memory because it is a time I get spend with my family, and we end up doing a lot of crazy stuff for those videos. I love the smiling faces we get from the elders and how happy they are that they didn't have to cook that night. We just recently had this particular dinner this past Sunday and we all had a blast! This is why this is one of my favorite Christmas memories I get to remember and be a part of.

  70. My favorite Christmas memory would have to be from three years ago. My family typically has 3 Christmas parties; one with my mom's side, and two on my dad's side. My favorite Christmas memories are associated with my dad's side of the family. Three years ago, my cousin was in South Korea, and he wasn't supposed to come back until after the New Year. When my aunt and uncle came to my house for the Christmas party, they said they had a gift that was for everybody. Turns out, my cousin had gotten to come home and surprise everyone.
That year, I got my iPhone and a bunch of other presents that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was also the last Christmas with my grandpa. I remember how every year, Christmas parties were at my grandpa's about a week before Christmas, then my family had a separate Christmas party with my grandma. My family now every year has Christmas with a bunch of added things. Every year we do gift exchanges, Christmas breakfast, snowball fights, and some years we would go down to my aunt's. My family is really distant until the holidays, so my Christmas memories are more associated with just being with people. Every year we would open presents, sometimes as early as 4 o'clock in the morning, then my dad and I always make a big breakfast.

  71. My favorite Christmas memory is probably a popular one throughout many people. My family doesn't really have any Christmas traditions that we do every year, we mostly just spend time as a family every year. Even though we may not have traditions, I love to pick out the Christmas tree and bring it home. Our tree is in our living room, so throughout December I love sitting in the living room and watching Christmas Hallmark movies with the tree lit up. The tree fills our house with this aroma that just smells like Christmas to me. My mom buys peppermint and cinnamon plug-ins that add to the Christmas smell. Our tree is about eight-feet tall decorated from top to bottom, glowing with lights all day and night long. The decorations and movies just get me so excited for Christmas to finally be here, and the new memories that will be made on Christmas day. Another thing I love to do around Christmas is go to Christmas service at our church. I love listening to our band sing, they all have amazing angel like voices. There is nothing better than worshiping Jesus Christ with my friends and family. So, my favorite Christmas memory is the time that we get to spend with family, the new Christmas movies, and going to Christmas service because I think that is the best part about the Holiday season; being with the people you love and worshiping the one that died because He loved you.

I always loved sitting in my grandparent's house eating Christmas breakfast and talking with my grandfather forever about weird and trivial things, my Uncle Jean would always cut in and start cracking jokes left and right about how we were all getting too tall. I cherish these memories now that they are both gone.

Every Christmas my entire extended family on my mom's side will go over to my great grandmother's house and eat Christmas breakfast (a meal that rivals the size and Thanksgiving dinner). Everyone brings in a delicious dish, my grandmother's always being a huge pile of bacon, and we all sit around the house and talk about anything and everything we want to. The peace never lasts though, as my little cousins have the shortest attention spans, and soon all of the kids are up and playing.

  73. My favorite Christmas memories are when we go up to Wisconsin for Christmas. The long, boring drive up there is definitely worth the wait. As we get farther north, I can feel the excitement building and the anxiety setting in. I only get to go up to Wisconsin once every so often, so this is a big deal. Finally, I start to see the tell-tale signs that tell me we are getting close. The mounds of bright snow and the pastures filled with beautiful cows. We have finally reached our destination.

Once we get there, everything seems to move faster than normal. We travel to see my cousins, who live about thirty minutes away from my grandparents. We would always go rollerskating with them, which is how I become such a great skater. Sometimes, we would go up to Christy Mountain and ski. The slopes were great as always and was an amazing experience.

When we got back to grandma and grandpa's house, we rang in Christmas and the New Year with the cracks of our rifles and the delicious food in our bellies. We would go ice-fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, hiking, and sledding. We would have races and competitions. We would go and shoot pigeons by the barn on brisk afternoons. On Christmas Eve, we would settle down at the dinner table and dug into amazing food. There was succulent ham, creamy mashed potatoes, roast beef, delicious breads, and much more food. After supper, we would retire to the living room, where we relaxed and read the Christmas Story.

On Christmas day, my cousins nor I could wait to wake up. We would burst down stairs in a rush and leap under the Christmas tree, eager to see what presents had our name on them. The adults would then enter the room in their pajamas, with their morning coffee. Then the gift giving began. It was an organized chaos, filled with shouts of joy and the crumples of wrapping paper. Once all of the presents had found their owner, we would celebrate with four-wheeler rides and hunting. This is the best Christmas memory yet.

  75. My favorite Christmas memory was a few years ago when me and my sister played a game, that my parents had gotten us, all day long. We had so much fun with it, and of course since I was a little kid I could have played it all day and everyday. However, my sister didn't want to play it all day so I got mad at her for not wanting to play with me. I thought that I was the worst Christmas ever because I thought that my sister didn't like me anymore. I turns out that she was just tired of playing the same game, which now that I am older I can understand. I kept begging her to play with me and finally she did. It wasn't as much fun as the first time because I was the only one who trying to make it fun. Then, I started asking my mom and dad but they didn't want to play either. They suggested that we watch a movie as a family so we did. In the end I was glad we watched a movie instead of playing that game because that movie turned out to be one of my favorite movies ever. I wouldn't have admitted it back then but it was so much fun playing games with my sister and watching movies as a family.
Another one of my favorite Christmas memories is when I went up to Michigan to see my family. We stayed up there for about a week and we went sledding and had snowball fights. We were also up there for New Years Eve so we watched the ball drop on T.V. It was fun because I tried to do everything I could to stay awake but I was just too tired. I have so many great memories with my family from Michigan and I wish I could go there more often.

  76. One of my favorite christmas memories never happened on Christmas; it happened a few weeks before. So every year my grandma, mom, and I make homemade cut-out christmas cookies. One year, my older brother was home and he helped us make and decorate them. It was a ton of fun! By the end, my brother and I were coated in icing and flour from head to toe, and the kitchen was a huge mess. That day was so much fun and I was so glad that I got to see, hang out, and spend time with my brother and family.

This is one of my favorite christmas memories because I never got to see my brother that often nor do I really get to see him now. So when he came over and helped us I was overwhelmed with happiness!!! Any time that I get to do something with my brother it is always a ton of fun because we are normally always happy and we just love spending quality time together. That is why baking cut-out christmas cookies with my brother will always be one of my favorite christmas memories, and one of my favorite memories in general.

  78. One of my favorite Christmas memories, a tradition, is every year my family, including my grandparents, go down to brown county for a couple days. We will stay in a log cabin that is two stories tall with a back porch. Whenever we go, we meet up with a family that we are all good friends with because they have four younger kinds that my brothers and I hang out with. For the next couple days, our families will go swimming indoors, which is filled with the strong scent of chlorine, play in the snow, go to a town not far from us and shop, and play games. When the kids go swimming, there is a slide that we always go down many times and when we have to take a break, we'll dip our feet in the hot tub since we're always too young to actually go into it. While the kids are swimming though, there is a circular whirlpool that we will always play games in, usually girls against boys.
When our families go shopping, we always make it to a candy store where I will fill my candy bag with sour goodies and chocolate truffles. After that, we'll go to the Life is Good store and get items from there since that's my dad and brothers' favorite store in the town. Usually after that, we'll roam around and look for other stores we think we'll find something good in. When my family isn't shopping or swimming, then we're sitting inside playing games and having fun. We'll usually stay up late every night playing different games. On the last day of our trip, we'll always through out some nuts my grandparents brought to feed the birds. I always snap amazing pictures of the birds as they sneak up to snatch a nut for themselves. Right before we get in the car after everything is packed up, we'll take a family picture to remember this year's trip.
Once we get into the car, we'll always make a last minute, more like an hour, trip through outlet malls a little ways from the Brown County campsite. The boys and girls split up and meet at a store after sometime and then we'll continue our trip home. For lunch, we'll always stop at Crackle Barrel and look through the mini store they have set up. Once we're all satisfied, we finally go home, make it there safely, unpack, and go to sleep.

  79. Every Christmas is the same for me, on Christmas Eve my brother and I go to my Grandma Lengel's house and have a big dinner and open presents and then we go home. The next morning we open gifts out our house and then we head over to our Grandma Niccum's for breakfast, lunch, and gifts. We first have breakfast, which is a big feast and usually involves cinnamon rolls. After breakfast we hand out stockings and gifts to everyone. Once everyone has their presents we go around the room opening one present at a time in front of everyone.

After we explore our gifts for awhile its time for lunch and cake. Lunch is a smaller meal, but it's the my favorite meal of the day. Then they sing "Happy Birthday" to me and bring out the cake. I then open my Birthday gifts and thank everyone. Usually after all of that we all take naps (mostly the men) and watch TV. Around four o' clock we go home and clean up the mess we left. Later that week we go to my Granny Bert's house and have another Christmas with more family and more food.

I don't really have a favorite because all of them have been the same, but I love them all. When I was very young we used to go down to Florida every Christmas break and go to parks like Sea World, but I don't remember them that much, so they aren't my favorite memories of Christmas. My favorite part of all of my Christmas memories is spending time with my family. Some parts of my family I see everyday, but I still enjoy spending the holidays with them.

  80. In my favorite Christmas memory I was snuggled up on the couch with my softest blanket wrapped around me. My dog, Lady, was lying by my side and my cat, Sky, was laying on my chest. Candles from Bath & Body Works were filling the room with a very calming aroma. I watched as the colorful lights on the tree flashed on and off. Everything around me was so peaceful that I felt as if I was watching down upon myself.
Most people wouldn't say that this was one of their best memories, but I can't help but to love the feeling of tranquility. My mother grabbed her camera and made sure to capture every moment. Her smile was the biggest and the brightest I had seen it for a very long time. It made me remember that Christmas isn't just about presents, but about spending time with your loved ones. They truly are the only ones you can always count on to be there for you. So, I guess you could say that my favorite memory is cheesy; however, it will always remain with me, so that I will continue to smile in my biggest struggles.

  81. In my experiences, Christmas is usually my favorite time of the year because of all the enjoyable memories made with my family and friends. I have several stories of my time spent around Christmas in the past, but my most memorable Christmas was last year's. Last year, my family visited my Grandma's home in Indianapolis. I always enjoy going there because my her house is always beautifully decorated and she is an amazing cook. On the few days leading up to Christmas, the excitement was unbearable. It was funny to see my little sisters, at ages 5 and 3, converse about what they were expecting to get for Christmas. On the night of December 24th, I could barely sleep. In the morning, I was woken up by my two sisters, filled with excitement. When I went upstairs to see the decorated Christmas tree, it was flooded with presents. Everyone was happy and in a good mood, and that simply made me happier. What really raised my spirits was seeing the reactions of my sisters and the rest of my family opening the gifts that I got them. I myself received some great gifts and an amazing breakfast, making that the best morning of my life.
Later on Christmas day, we left Indianapolis and I returned home to see more family. The rest of my family enjoyed their gifts from me as well, making me ecstatic. I was very overwhelmed and thankful for my gifts, and especially my family. My aunt, uncle, and great-grandma joined us for a delicious Christmas dinner. We spent the rest of the day enjoying our gifts and the company of our family. Although my best Christmas memory may not sound like an exciting one, it was very special to me because of the fun time spent with my family.

  83. Christmas Memories are typically fond ones that warm our hearts with joy as we remember the Christmas season. I, in particular recall an especially fond moment on the night before Christmas. My Mothers parents are typically not around for the holiday season but to our avail they made a warmly welcomed appearance and , to our surprise, had us over for the evening to be joyous and festive. I can Remember the succulent smell of walking into her rather large kitchen and smelling the air that was suffuse with the grand smell of a roast accompanied by a legion of other foods, it truly was a feast. I lay my coat upon the bed and accompany my family for a joyous celebration of the holidays. Until the sky grew pitch black and the town quieted we picked upon my grandparents feast like vultures and discussed only the best times that the year had offered us.
As I continued through the house my eyes were aroused by the glimmering lights, the festive ornaments, and the glorious christmas tree. Oh what a tree it was full and tall with plenty of ornaments and the fields of white that reminded me of the night sky. But I must recall the grandeur of the star that sat atop the tree as the lights reflected of of the shinny brass surface creating a kaleidoscope of colors that bounced off of the surrounding walls and leaped into my eyes. As my eyes left the behemoth tree they joied my parents and I could see the laughing and but so happy that it brought a tear to my eye, It was than that I realized how special these moments are and to hold onto it for I may not have many more like it. Twas a wondrous christmas indeed and one that will warm the hearts of my family in the years to come.

"I can Remember the succulent smell of walking into her rather large kitchen and smelling the air that was suffuse with the grand smell of a roast accompanied by a legion of other foods, it truly was a feast." I love this because it truly makes me feel as if I am walking into the kitchen. I feel as is if I can smell the roast and see all of the food.

  84. My favorite Christmas time memory would have to be when I was younger. My grandfather would tie sleds to the back of his 4-wheeler and pull me and my sisters around in the snow. Even though the wind was bitterly cold when it hit my face it was always a fun time. I've always loved playing out in the snow; building snowmen, sledding, and having snow ball fights. I especially love how everything looks after it snows. When the sun is out everything sparkles and the trees look so pretty covered in white.

On Christmas day my family opens presents and then stays home all day. We visit other family before or after Christmas day, so after we open presents we just stay home. I enjoy staying home with my family on Christmas day rather than running all over. We turn on Christmas movies and me and my brother mess around with our new gifts. Visiting family is fun, but staying home and drinking warm, sweet hot chocolate all day is something I find to be even better.

    1. I like how you described the hot chocolate you drank. It reminded me of previous cups of cocoa and now I crave it. Your details are magnificent.

    2. Very good job describing the snow, and the activities you enjoy doing in the snow.

    3. I really liked your story and could connect well because my grandpa does the same thing with me and my sister. Very good adjectives and writing style. Well done!

  86. My favorite Christmas memory was probably last year because my whole family and extend family got together and just caught up with each other. We laughed, shared stories, upcoming plans, and whatever came to mind. I picked last year's Christmas because it really made me realize how important family is and that one of the main reasons for Christmas is spending time together with the people you love. It was great being able to talk to my cousins and even my oldest brother who came home from college for the week, it reminded me how much I missed them on a daily basis. Although we didn't do much it will still be a Christmas that I remember for quite a while.

We met up at my grandparents house that afternoon and just ate food, talked, opened gifts and enjoyed each other's presence. I don't even remember what I got because all that I can remember are funny stories, a game of "Apples to Apples" (that my cousin Matthew was somehow able to cheat at), and throwing snow at each other. That year we also had video game tournaments that everyone took part in even if you didn't like them. That Christmas is especially important to me because this past year my brother joined the military and he won't be able to come home for Christmas. This year will be the first year my family is apart, so it's nice being able to look back and remember a time when we were all together.

  88. My favorite Christmas memory was when I got to make Christmas dinner with my whole family one year on Christmas Eve, and then woke up on Christmas, opened all the presents, ate and then and enjoyed being around my family. I think that being around family is what Christmas is all about. Not the presents, expensive dinners or friends. Christmas is about quality time with the people one loves.
Especially when one’s sister or brother is in the military forces and one can only see another on their “leaves” (Which are temporary breaks that Military personal get after so long). For instance, My brother is currently in the Navy and will get out “for good” in 2 weeks, which he will be he for Christmas which is awesome since I haven’t seen him for 2 years. And that’s about my Christmas story/thoughts.

  89. One of my favorite Christmas memories is when my cousins and me made a play at my grandmas house for Christmas. All of my cousins were in it so we had ten people in it. I was the director so it was a bit of a struggle trying to get everyone to pay attention and do their part. People were running around and messing stuff up, which is what usually happens. We made a script and we casted my cousins in the parts they were best fit for. We practiced and tried to make it as good as possible.
When it came time we got the stage ready and got all the parents around to watch. We had a ton of fun doing the play. I don't know if it was good or not but we had a lot of fun doing it. Then after that we prayed, ate delicious food, read the Christmas story, and then opened gifts! It is always fun to be around everyone in your family and have a awesome time with them.
